2000 Dodge Dakota

So... Yeah. I have been wanting a truck for a while now. There are a few reasons why I wanted a truck. One being that I figured a truck would be good for transporting gravel, and other landscaping stuff. Another reason was that I have found I really enjoy working on vehicles, and figured a project truck would be fun.

I picked up this truck for $900. It is running and driving, but it will need some work.

2007 Crown Victoria Repair: Blown out Plug!

It seems that my car has a mind of its own. The day after I had posted the last post about the intake manifold repair, the car decided to blow out the number 8 spark plug on my way home from work. If it had been number 4, it might of made more sense, but no, it was number 8. Some people commented that maybe my car had heard me talking about buying a truck, and it got jealous. That is also possible. But guess what, I don't bow down to jealousy, so I ended up buying a truck anyhow.

2007 Crown Victoria Repair: Intake Manifold

Over this past winter, I had to do a bit of an unplanned repair. I was getting misfires in my #5 and 6 cylinders, and upon further investigation, I had found that the seal between the intake manifold and the head of the engine was leaking, causing coolant to seep into my spark plug cavities. I had also noticed some oil leaking in from the valve cover gasket as well, so it was time to replace both.
